Hyper are proud to announce that the witty Matt Edmondson has joined the agency and is currently available for DJ sets and personal appearances.


Since joining Radio One in January 2010, Matt has been a regular host on Fearne Cotton's show, broadcast every Friday at midday, exposing and reporting on the week's celebrity gossip and entertainment news.


Matt's quick wit and quirky interviewing style offers a cutting-edge alternative to conventional techniques, creating genuine entertainment for both the celebrities and audience alike. If you haven't seen Matt in action, check out the video below.

Matt is known for his somewhat controversial celebrity interviews and currently presents Pocket TV, an online music series broadcast on YouTube, interviewing celebrities in a variety of unusual situations. The feature Face Invaders sees Matt interviewing celebrities at an interrogating proximity achieving hilarious responses and offering an entertaining alternative to generic celebrity interviews.


Specialising in music, celebrity gossip and entertainment, Matt is a devoted X-Factor fan, which lead him to write, produce, present and edit an online series of videos initially shared on YouTube. Filled with hilarious observations from the show, Matt edits together video clips whilst highlighting clever wordplay to create fun-filled comical sequences. Picked up by ITV, online weekly fan show The F Factor was born and Matt's popularity grew.


Previous to this, 26-year-old Portsmouth born Matt, worked as a celebrity interviewer for gossip site HolyMoly.com with highlights including being cradled like a baby by Mr. T, and uncovering Simon Cowell's secret past working as a judge for dog shows.

Having worked with production giants such as Coki and being the only MC to ever beat Wiley in a clash, he is famed for his high energy driven performances and his ability to move a crowd is rivalled by none!

‘A Series of Volvo Cross Country Misadventures’

Snowbombing driven by Volvo is an extraordinary festival. We want to let everyone know this, so we’ve assembled a crack team of sonic snow soldiers and handed them a mighty mountainous mission: togenerate the Volvo Snowbombing vibe in eight premier powdery playgrounds across Austria, Switzerland & France!

The tour will include a number of days in each resort culminating with 1 night in a variety of venues & clubs.  With a couple of warm up gigs already under our belt in Mayrhofen, the tour will officially start in January.

Their weapons of choice are two of Volvo’s coolest cars;  a passion red XC60 and a Sapphire Black XC90 fully loaded with Pioneer CDJ1000′s and video screen for VJ-ing: in short, a mobile disco done the Volvo Snowbombing way!

Hyper Agency Making Moves

Once upon a time the music industry may have looked at Hyper Agency as the main facilitator to the Student Union circuit and celebrity PA market. Managing Director Guy Robinson has carved a very nice niche in the market through working tirelessly over the last 15 years to be a consultant and fantastic agent to many student union venues, bringing them entrainment in all formats. The roster of celebrities and DJ's which includes such artists as BBC Radio 1 DJs Scott Mills & Greg James, Hollywood actors David Hasselhoff and Verne Troyer and Ministry Of Sound masters the Cut Up Boys amongst many others have become mainstays on the Student Union circuit and this is all down to his abilities to build relationships and good timing.


The music and entertainment industry is changing rapidly, the phenomena's that are catch up services, Facebook, Youtube and iTunes have changed the way the world now consumes music and entertainment on a mass scale. Entertainment really has changed and the guys at Hyper feel there in the best position to take the challenges on headfirst.


New addition to the company Ian Kane has come to bring diversity and a new angle to the Hyper roster, he comes not with celebrities and Radio DJs in his arsenal but the best in underground electronic talent including artists such as The Wideboys, Ras Kwame, Durrty Goodz, Inspector Dubplate, Ego Thieves and 2SuckaDJs. Ian has spent the last 3 years with his ear to the ground searching in likely and unlikely places for the best producers and DJs of electronic music the UK has to offer. His roster and creative ideas bring a whole new target market and set of circumstances to the table - and it's in this that Ian is keen to make a difference and go against the grain somewhat, acting as a consultant and facilitator rather than a salesman. Having promoted shows himself for 3 years prior to making the switch he feels he is well placed to assist and advise and know when a promoter just simply cannot afford it or needs more help than there letting on.


The combining of these two minds has already produced tangible results with the launch of a Hyper Agency Soundcloud, YouTube & Blog. This is making the other agencies sit up and take notice of the moves these two are making in the industry, utilising the best and most efficient on-line media programs and services to reach their clients in a way nobody else is doing. 


The next step will be the launch of VideoDJs.Net - a new venture under the Hyper banner that will see Audio Video DJs take center stage as Hyper pushes things forward again in the wake of a sold out Freshers tour for the world's number one video DJ 'Beat A Maxx', after all you cant get anywhere standing still.

Cheeky Monday's, Deep in the red-light of Amsterdam, CHEEKY MONDAY is a thriving underground drum'n'bass event that is like no other. Thriving on the fact that it occurs on a day that most would generally not think to party, CHEEKY MONDAY consistantly shocks its venue and promotors with its undeniable numbers of 'cheekstars' that flock to rock the Winston each week. Known for its high quality range of d'n'b, friendly coziness, good vibes and arrogant disregard to the fact the weekend has passed, CHEEKY MONDAY bounced into existance in May 2005 and has since cut, scratched, pounded and grooved its mark into the Amsterdam drum'n'bass scene. On March 30th 2009, Cheeky Monday celebrated its 150th edition.
