Hyper Agency Making Moves

Once upon a time the music industry may have looked at Hyper Agency as the main facilitator to the Student Union circuit and celebrity PA market. Managing Director Guy Robinson has carved a very nice niche in the market through working tirelessly over the last 15 years to be a consultant and fantastic agent to many student union venues, bringing them entrainment in all formats. The roster of celebrities and DJ's which includes such artists as BBC Radio 1 DJs Scott Mills & Greg James, Hollywood actors David Hasselhoff and Verne Troyer and Ministry Of Sound masters the Cut Up Boys amongst many others have become mainstays on the Student Union circuit and this is all down to his abilities to build relationships and good timing.


The music and entertainment industry is changing rapidly, the phenomena's that are catch up services, Facebook, Youtube and iTunes have changed the way the world now consumes music and entertainment on a mass scale. Entertainment really has changed and the guys at Hyper feel there in the best position to take the challenges on headfirst.


New addition to the company Ian Kane has come to bring diversity and a new angle to the Hyper roster, he comes not with celebrities and Radio DJs in his arsenal but the best in underground electronic talent including artists such as The Wideboys, Ras Kwame, Durrty Goodz, Inspector Dubplate, Ego Thieves and 2SuckaDJs. Ian has spent the last 3 years with his ear to the ground searching in likely and unlikely places for the best producers and DJs of electronic music the UK has to offer. His roster and creative ideas bring a whole new target market and set of circumstances to the table - and it's in this that Ian is keen to make a difference and go against the grain somewhat, acting as a consultant and facilitator rather than a salesman. Having promoted shows himself for 3 years prior to making the switch he feels he is well placed to assist and advise and know when a promoter just simply cannot afford it or needs more help than there letting on.


The combining of these two minds has already produced tangible results with the launch of a Hyper Agency Soundcloud, YouTube & Blog. This is making the other agencies sit up and take notice of the moves these two are making in the industry, utilising the best and most efficient on-line media programs and services to reach their clients in a way nobody else is doing. 


The next step will be the launch of VideoDJs.Net - a new venture under the Hyper banner that will see Audio Video DJs take center stage as Hyper pushes things forward again in the wake of a sold out Freshers tour for the world's number one video DJ 'Beat A Maxx', after all you cant get anywhere standing still.
